Swiss Poker Series – Basel

The Swiss Poker Series (SPS) rolls on after a beautiful pitstop in Montreux. This time, it’s down to Basel to bring the action as the SPS and PokerStars team up once again for more intriguing poker at the tables.

With everything from the Main Event to the Mini SPS and High Roller events, you’re almost certainly covered when you take your seat at the felt from August 31-September 7. But what about the city itself? What does it offer?

We’re glad you asked. Basel is often dubbed Switzerland’s “cultural capital”, which is saying something considering just how diverse the country is. With an historical old town to explore and a thriving food and drink scene to sample, there’s plenty to do when you need a break.

To us, that sounds like an eclectic poker tournament worth experiencing.

Festival Dates: August 31-September 7, 2025

Venue: Grand Casino Basel
